Hi guys, so its been awhile since I posted anything here and I apologise for that. I’m back now and definitely sharing whats been up with me so here’s a life update.
Blogging, Social Media, Productivity and Youtube
I’ve been struggulinnnnng with staying motivated these days it’s not even funny. I can’t even say for sure what the problem was, I was just so demotivated. and even though I continued to update my social platforms, I found it so difficult to write posts or to even take pictures for the blog. I just felt stuck, doing the same things over and again so I decided to take a break until I felt more like blogging again. I also created a youtube channel, check it out here so that was fun. I’d been wanting to make one for the longest time, about the same time I started blogging but I never got around to it. Now it’s finally live and I’m so proud of it I already have a few videos up and I’m working on a few more at the moment. I believe it was what really helped get my blogging juices flowing again lol because it was a lot different from what I was doing before.
The highlight of my year, to be honest is the fact that I finish undergrad this month. I can’t tell you guys how happy I am about that. The official graduation isn’t until May next year but nonetheless, I’m still a graduate come the end of this semester lol. I haven’t decided on Masters, I’m job hunting at the moment so hopefully I find something good. And as for my Masters, I’m thinking maybe a couple years down the line if at all.
I got a new camera, the sony a5000. I feel it was my official induction into the blogging world lol, I no longer had to beg and borrow my friend’s camera (hey Joan) I felt really legit. I also got a lighting kit for my videos, I thought about holding off and using natural light for the time being but decided against it. I felt it was better to have the lights and not always need it, than to need it and not have it.
Food and Fitness
I went on a slight fitness craze like a month ago, I wanted to lose a couple of kilos before my birthday. I haven’t dieted since then, I think I even gained the weight back lol so that’s that. But no really I’m thinking about going back to my healthy lifestyle you know, making it more of a marathon than a sprint. I’ve also been cooking a lot lately, I really missed it, especially trying out new recipes. like the red velvet ice cream sandwiches, I’m planning on making. I’ve been obsessed with them of late and decided to make my own. If I like the way they turn out, I’ll document the process for you guys.
I’ve been reading alot lately mostly crime fiction and books on the workings of psychopaths and I’ve been become so obsessed with them lol even the shows I’m watching now are all about criminal minds so if you guys know any good shows about psychopaths/sociopaths be sure to let me know. I also worked on a project late last month which I’m not allowed to share yet but once it’s ready, you guys will be the first to know. I’ve also been learning to swim, so far I can do the butterfly but I can’t float yet (don’t ask) the most important thing is that I conquered my fear of water lol I’m also in the process of making my first ever bucket list and working on my new years resolution.
